The last week of December I took a group
of the Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) students in Denver ice skating for our annual Christmas party. We had a great time, and one student even brought a few friends who are interested in joining the CYIA team for 2012!
In January, I spent two weeks in Uganda serving as the chapel speaker for their CYIA training. I got to spend time each morning in praise and worship with 130+ students who were on fire for Christ and shared God’s Word with them.
On March 2, I hosted our annual meeting for students and parents in Denver to come learn about the CYIA program. For Summer 2012 we will be doing three weeks of ministry in Denver and two weeks of ministry in the Twin Cities. It was such a blessing to share with everyone about this opportunity!
There is nothing quite like reaching children for Christ and seeing students mobilized for this mission. This has been my full-time job for the past four years, and I am truly blessed.
Thanks to each of you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support! God uses you to make this ministry possible. For 2012, one of my goals is to improve my financial support: I am currently about 25% supported. Toward this end, I am rolling out a new way to give: recurring monthly donations via credit card or PayPal.
It’s easy. Enter your information once, and PayPal will take care of the rest each month. (Any questions, feel free to email me.) If you would like give this way, simply choose a giving level below and click the button to get started:
If you haven’t already, would you prayerfully consider becoming involved in the ministry in this way? Your support allows me to continue leading CYIA full-time. Thanks!
